Mimmie Kwong, MD

Assistant Professor of Surgery

Sacramento, California

Born in China and raised in Sacramento, California, Mimmie completed her undergraduate education at Harvard University, where earned an AB in Neurobiology with a secondary in Health Policy, and her graduate education at Johns Hopkins University. After completing her residency in Vascular Surgery at U.C. Davis, she accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Surgery at U.C. Davis with a dual appointment at the Sacramento VA. She has a strong interest in multidisciplinary care of complex vascular patients and in biomedical innovation for treatment of peripheral arterial disease. She is recently completed a masters in clinical and translational research and a funded fellowship in cellular therapies.
