Current fourth year vascular surgery resident at the University of Florence (Italy), currently working at the Careggi University Hospital (Florence, Italy), My research focuses mainly on carotid arteries pathologies, their natural history and treatment. My latest publication titled "Elective or Urgent Carotid Endarterectomy in Symptomatic Patients: Analysis Based on the Type and Timing of Neurological Symptom" invastigates the crucial role of symptoms in determining the appropriate timing for intervention.
