Mohamed F Osman MD, MBA, DABS, RPVI, FACS, FSVS
Dr Osman earned his medical degree from the University of Khartoum, Faculty of Medicine in Sudan. He completed his general surgery residency training at The University of Toledo. In addition, he completed two fellowship trainings in surgical critical care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School and Vascular and Endovascular surgery training at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr Osman is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University Toledo. In addition, he serves as the Associate Program Director of the General surgery Residency program, Surgery clerkship Assistant Director, Director of the Aortic Center at The University of Toledo, and Medical Director of Great Lakes Vascular Institute.
Dr. Osman is board-certified in general surgery, surgical critical care, and vascular surgery. He has numerous specialty interests including complex aortic aneurysmal disease, complex aortic dissection, aortoiliac occlusive disease, cerebrovascular and carotid artery disease, and mesenteric and renal vascular disease.
In addition, his research interests include clinical outcomes of open and endovascular management of aortic aneurysms, mesenteric vascular disease, and open and endovascular limb salvage surgery.
