Dr. Gordon is a vascular surgery resident at the University of Toronto; she is passionate about using data analytics to improve surgical residency training. She is currently expanding the use of the Operating Room Black Box (www.smhicss.ca) to vascular and endovascular surgery: developing new ways to assess skills in the angiography suite and determining how team performance relates to patient safety and staff radiation exposure. Dr. Gordon has been published in Annals of Surgery, JAMA Surgery and the British Journal of Surgery and has received awards from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Canadian Society for Vascular Surgery (CSVS).
