Angela A. Kokkosis, MD, FACS, is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Stony Brook Medicine in Long Island, NY. She completed her integrated vascular surgery training at the Mount Sinai Hospital in NY, New York, and was recruited to Stony Brook upon graduation. Dr. Kokkosis has been highly involved with medical student and trainee education with the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS), as well as with other committees of the SVS. She is the Program Director for the Integrated Vascular Surgery Program at Stony Brook Medicine. Dr. Kokkosis has presented her clinical research in venous disease,dialysis access, and carotid disease at national meetings and published her work in peer-reviewed journals. Her clinical practice consists of all aspects of venous and arterial disease.
