Dr. Vemuri received his BA in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University and his MD from the University of Michigan. He went on to complete General Surgery training at the University of Michigan, completed a Surgical Oncology Research Fellowship at the NCI and then completed a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Washington University in Saint Louis. He currents performs general and complex Vascular Surgery at the University of Michigan with a clinical practice encompassing Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysmal Disease, Aorto-Iliac and Mesenteric Occlusive Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Venous Disease and Dialysis Access. He is the Ambulatory Clinical Care Chief for Vascular Surgery, the Chair of the Frankel Cardiovascular Center's Innovation Program, the Vice Chair of Business Intelligence for the Department of Surgery, the Director of the clinical Venous and TOS programs for Vascular Surgery, the Director of the medical student surgical simulation course and the Director of the medical student residency prepartory course for Vascular Surgery.
