Ali Moran is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2017 and Doctorate of Nursing Practice 2020, both from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Currently, Ali practices as a Vascular Medicine Nurse Practitioner at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She started working for this service as a new graduate Nurse Practitioner October 2017. Prior to starting her career as a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a nurse in the Coronary Care Unit. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University in 2015.
Ali has held leadership roles including precepting a student and teaching vascular lectures through Vanderbilt School of Nursing and societal conferences. She is currently a board member of Society Vascular Nursing as the treasurer and the conference committee. She has presented at conferences about vascular disease including SVM, SVN and VIVA.
In addition to her professional and leadership roles, Ali ran the Boston marathon October 2021 and April 2022 in efforts to raise money for spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) alliance and foundation at Vanderbilt. She most recently ran the London marathon this past April 2023.
