Dr. Peter Rossi is a Professor of Surgery, Radiology and Orthopedic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and serves as the chief of the Division of Vascular and Endovasular Surgery, among the largest academic vascular practices in the US. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery and a member of the Executive Council of the Midwest Vascular Surgical Society. His clinical interests include complex aortic surgery including both open and endovascluar treatment of aortic arch, thoracoabdominal and abdominal aortic aneurysms, as well as management of adult and pediatric mesenteric and renal artery aneurysms and occlusive disease; and he has developed a national reputation as an outstanding technical surgeon and innovator. His primary research interests are in aortic dissecitions, including genetic aortopathies, and he has served as the national PI for aortic device trials and is the US Secretary of the Aortic Trauma Foundation.
