Matthew J. Sideman, MD

Dr. Sideman has been with UT Health San Antonio for 13 years where his clinical volume is heavily dialysis access and limb salvage. He enjoys teaching medical students, training residents and fellows, and mentoring the next generation of vascular surgeons. Matthew currently serves as the President of the Texas Society for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (TSVES). Matthew is also passionate about advocating for our specialty. He has served in health policy for the SVS since being chosen as a trainee in 2006. He is currently the Chair of the SVS Advocacy Council and Chair of the Payment Reform Task Force. Matthew has served as the SVS Advisor to the AMA RVU Update Committee for the past 10 years.
