Dr. Abdul-Malak is a PGY4 integrated vascular surgery resident at the university of pittsburgh medical center. He moved to pittsburgh in 2013 after completing an undergraduate degree in biology at the American University of Beirut, and his medical degree also from the American University of Beirut. He completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in the department of general surgery prior to joining the residency program. As part of his dedicated academic development time in the residency program he earned a masters of science degree in clinical research. His research interests include peripheral vacular disease, aortic disease, and vascular disease in the ESRD population. In his spare time he enjoys running marathons and cycling.
