Jill J. Colglazier, M.D. is a Consultant in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Mayo Clinic and is Assistant Professor of Surgery at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. She has also served as Program Director for the Vascular Fellowship and Integrated Vascular Residency Program since 2021. Dr. Colglazier received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland in 2005. She completed her general surgery residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island in 2012, where she was also a surgical research fellow for two years studying immunology with phagocytosis in VAV knockout mice. During her residency she received the Resident of the Year Award in 2012. She subsequently joined the vascular surgery fellowship program in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Mayo Clinic in 2012. After graduating from fellowship, she joined a vascular surgery practice at Southdale Hospital in Edina, Minnesota and was Adjunct Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Minnesota Department of Surgery. Dr. Colglazier then returned to Mayo Clinic in 2016 when she joined the faculty of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Dr. Colglazier is a reviewer for the Journal of Vascular Surgery. To date, she has delivered 22 presentations in regional and national meetings, and published 44 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, or abstracts. Her main clinical interests are complex aortic pathology, complex open aortic repair, aberrant subclavian artery pathology and repair, and thoracic outlet syndrome.
