Elizabeth L. George, MD, MS is a Stanford Vascular Surgery Integrated Chief Resident. During her professional development time she earned her Master’s degree in Health Policy from Stanford and completed a Health Sciences Research Fellowship at the Centers for Innovation to Implementation within the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Division of Health Sciences Research & Development. Her research focuses on improving clinical and cost-effectiveness in vascular surgery and studying the effects of health policy on vascular surgical practice. In addition to her Master's degree in Health Policy, Dr. George also earned her BA and MD from Stanford University and will be completing her vascular surgical residency training in 2022.
