Research Scholar
Department of Vascular Surgery, Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital
Copenhagen, Denmark
Medicine was the natural choice of study for me. With a deep desire to help others and a hunger for knowledge, a profession of service to others and lifelong learning seemed perfect. After finishing a scientific program at a technological high school in Denmark, I took some time off to travel and volunteer around the world. Then I proudly became a medical student at the university of copenhagen during the pandemic in 2020. Now three years later I am earning my bachelorĀ“s degree in Medicine. Continuing towards my MasterĀ“s degree I still have the same clear vision of becoming a surgeon as when I began my studies. Therefore, I took a student job in the department of vascular surgery nearly two years ago. A year ago, I was trusted with my own research project that I have worked on with the most excellent team of vascular surgeons and professors. Even though I have stumbled upon the specialty of vascular surgery, I am proud to possibly have a future in this field.
