Dr. Charles J. Fox, MD, FACS Associate Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Division of Vascular Surgery serves as Chief, Vascular Surgery Capital Region Medical Center and attending surgeon at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He is former Chief of Vascular Surgery at Denver Health Medical Center where he functioned as a Trauma and Vascular Surgeon. Dr Fox is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and former program director for vascular surgery training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC. Dr. Fox is a well-recognized vascular surgeon with an academic interest in vascular trauma care and numerous combat deployments. He graduated with distinction from the George Washington University Medical School, 1995. He completed his postgraduate training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in both General and Vascular Surgery. He is a reviewer for the Journal of Vascular Surgery and is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery and the Journal of Endovascular Trauma Management.
