Thomas S. Huber, MD, PhD
Dr. Thomas S. Huber is currently the Edward R. Woodward Professor of Surgery and Division Chief of Vascular Surgery at the University of Florida College Of Medicine. He also serves at the Vice Chairman in the Department of Surgery. He is the Chairman of the Vascular Surgery Board of the American Board of Surgery. His clinical interests include hemodialysis access, mesenteric ischemia and complex aortic diseases. He was one of the Principal Investigators in the NIH-funded Hemodialysis Fistula Maturation Study, a multicenter trial to identify predictors of fistula maturation. He was on the Writing Committee of the KDOQI Clinical Practice Guidelines for Vascular Access and the Chairman of the Society for Vascular Surgery’s Practice Guidelines for Chronic Mesenteric Ischemia.
