Scott Robinson, MD is an assistant professor in the Division of Vascular Surgery & Endovascular Therapy at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Robinson earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, magna cum laude from Union College in Schenectady, NY and his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University.
He earned his MD from Emory University School of Medicine. Most recently, he completed an integrated Vascular Surgery residency at the University of Michigan. During his residency he also completed a post-doctoral Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship at the Advanced Materials and BioEngineering Research (AMBER) Center in Galway, Ireland from 2017 to 2019.at the National University of Ireland Galway.
Dr. Robinson’s clinical interests encompass a broad spectrum of vascular disease including abdominal aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, and cerebrovascular disease. His research interests include development of biomaterials and drug delivery systems for treatment of various arterial and venous pathologies.
